Version 5.7.144 is updated to work with Legion Patch 7.0.3.Version 5.7.148 is updated to work with Battle for Azeroth Patch 8.0.1.Version 5.7.151 is updated to work with Shadowlands Pre-Patch 9.0.1, this version is also rolled out to support Classic 5.7.151-Classic.If that does not work, I suggest downloading a scrolling battle text addon. Once there you should see an option for 'Floating Combat Text' on the left hand side of the 'Interface' window, go there and check off anything you'd like to see float above your character or opponent in-game. This makes it so you do not have to watch (or use) your regular combat chat window and gives it a 'Final Fantasy' feel. A fairly simple but very configurable mod that adds damage, heals, and events (dodge, parry, windfury, etc) as scrolling text above you character model, much like what already happens above your target. But as a change that will have exactly zero impact on the game other than the Healers enjoyment of Dungeons and Raids, can you please implement Scrolling combat text for Heals please? I understand this wasn’t there to begin with, but neither was the “Open all mail. Classic is awesome and should remain exactly as it is.

Mac is supported, just delayed, much like Diablo 3 2.4 PTR which only worked on PC for about a week or two. They are missing from CDN which means when you try to click “play” it’ll fail to find valid binaries and abort.ĭon’t worry, this isn’t an overwatch situation though. It installs everything on mac except the application binaries.

Though you can download and install the client, it won’t work. Update 2: For Mac users, however, I’ve got bad news: the Mac alpha client isn’t currently working. Instead, if you log on to and see two WoW PTRs listed and one of them numbered something other than WoW1 (we’ve had reports of WoW4, WoW5, and WoW6), that may be an indication you have alpha access - but check the launcher to be sure. with a clear label reading something like “Legion Alpha”). Update 1: Note that while I would usually expect to see this information on the page itself under account information, it’s not currently appearing there in the typical format (i.e. If you see a section labeled Alpha: Legion, you’re in. To check if you’re in the alpha, fire up your launcher and check the pull-down menu under Region / Account. In short: we’re probably still seeing a pretty early version of Legion in action, here, and we’re likely to see a lot of change before launch. While I would tend to argue that this is more of a semantical difference than anything, alpha testing always precedes beta testing and indicates an earlier version in the development process. Though we were all expecting the Legion beta considering Blizzard said the beta would start within weeks of BlizzCon, the client up on the launcher is clearly labeled as an alpha. Finally, the moment we’ve all been waiting for: World of Warcraft: Legion is officially in alpha testing stage.
